Destinology is the brainchild of founder and Managing Director, Dominic Speakman. Speakman spent 5 years as Managing Director of one of the UK's most successful and award winning travel companies before leaving in late 2003 to set up Destinology.

With its first bookings taken in early 2004, Destinology has rapidly established itself as a significant company in the UK travel industry. Even in such a short period of time Destinology has already carried over 20,000 passengers in 2007 and turnover in excess of £20 million.

Over the last few years, the rapid rise in internet based travel companies has given customers limitless access to travel information. However many of the internet's largest players, in their attempts to automate the customer experience, have lost that personal touch. Indeed some of the largest internet travel companies don't even have a contact phone number on their site.
