The Blue Heron by rex resorts offers the perfect paradise escape. This adults only hotel is set within a secluded sandy beach which looks across to the shimmering silhouette of Monserat. A busy day here is a gentle stroll along a gleaming sun drenched beach, while the trade winds rustle the branches of palm trees. Escape on holiday and immerse yourself in haven of peace and tranquillity. It is situated on the peaceful setting at Johnson’s Point. This is approximately 10 miles from St. John’s and the fabulous Turner’s Beach.

All accommodation is beautifully set out within the grounds of the hotel. Although they all have the most stunning balcony views, the Beachfront room has the advantage of looking directly out onto the azure waters. All 64 rooms have their own private bathrooms with shower, one double or two twin beds, telephone, television, hairdryer and balcony or patio. Superior category rooms and higher have air conditioning facilities. The standard rooms are cooled by a ceiling fan.

Guests have a variety of dining options at the Blue Heron Resort. Meals are accompanied by an evening entertainment of Caribbean music and gives you the chance to admire the glorious sunsets of Antigua. The Rookery Restaurant offers a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. This buffet-style restaurant serves a variety of meals along with a limited a la carte menu. There are regular themed buffet evenings. The Everglades lounge is the place to enjoy evening drinks along with entertainment offered by the hotel. This inviting bar has access to both the garden and lounge areas. The lively Boardwalk Pool Bar has wonderful views overlooking the pool and the sea. This is the place to sit in the shade and enjoy daytime snacks and cocktails. There is a range of activities and services on offer at The Blue Heron. These include laundry service, baby-sitting and currency exchange. There are also many water sports available nearby, including scuba diving, water skiing, deep sea fishing, windsurfing and sunfish sailing. The resort additionally features a tour desk to assist with a number of excursions.
