The Island Inn Hotel in Barbados is a cosy all inclusive resort, housed in early 19th century buildings, previously the Rum Store of the Colonial forces. Built around a central courtyard, the Island Inn is the perfect setting for weddings or cocktail parties to mark a special occasion. Opposite a white sandy beach on Carlisle Bay, the guest rooms offer a tantalising glimpse of the turquoise Caribbean sea and Island Inn is just a short walk from the bustling capital, Bridgetown. Less than a mile from Bridgetown, the Island Inn Hotel is perfectly situated for access to the capital’s banks, shops, restaurants and nightlife.

Just 25 well-designed rooms make up the Island Inn, all of which are recently restored with individually controlled air conditioning, private bathrooms with shower and tub, king size beds, Clock radios, telephone, in -room safe and televisions. Many of the rooms open on to an attractive garden area with swimming pool. Other rooms are furnished with antique mahogany furniture and wonderfully romantic four poster beds! Daily maid service

The Island Inn Hotel has a swimming pool and the use of tennis courts nearby (equipment not provided). Watersports are all arranged on a daily basis, including waterskiing, windsurfing, kayaking, pedalos, and snorkelling. Glass bottomed boat rides and scuba diving lessons are also available, and the beach across the road is the perfect spot to settle under a palm tree with a good book to relax. The all inclusive element of the Hotel includes full breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and evening meal. Most branded drinks including house wine are available with meals. On request, the chef will specially prepare a picnic for you to enjoy in a secluded spot. The Island Inn Hotel hosts a popular Rum Punch Party once a week and there is live entertainment on other evenings.
