OverviewThe exclusive boutique Little Good Harbour Hotel is very different from the usual Caribbean resort and is perfect for those looking to get away from the major resorts without losing out on the luxury. Little Good Harbour Hotel was recently described by the Sunday Times as “the best bolt hole in Barbados” and has also been voted as on of the world’s new hot spots by Conde Nast Traveller. This hip and stylish hotel is something a bit different for the younger Barbados visitor. Little Good Harbour Hotel lies on the west coast, just north of Port St Charles. The Hotel is 5 minutes away from Speightstown and 1 hour from the airport. FacilitiesLittle Good Harbour also offers guests a wealth of facilities including watersports of every kind from water skiing and wakeboarding, to windsurfing and kayaking which are easily arranged by the dedicated and helpful staff of Little Good Harbour Hotel. Shady three-seater Cabanas on the beach overlooking the fishing boats or the new luxury pool are the perfect spot for chilled glass of white! There is also a new massage room and gymnasium. In the evenings, Little Good Harbour Hotel is wonderfully situated near to the famous Fish Pot restaurant, run by Trevor Byer. This restaurant is a magnet for culinary experts from all over the world, whilst still charging reasonable rates. A fun and funky atmosphere serving international and local dishes with its emphasis on locally caught seafood and an extensive wine list. Little Good Harbour owner Andrew Warner also suggests that for a memorable experience, guests take advantage of local hospitality and eat in the local market for just a few dollars or that they even buy the catch of the day at the market and cook it themselves in their room! Guest RoomsLittle Good Harbour features just 15 air conditioned one bedroomed suites all with wooden floors which take their inspiration from the far away island of Bali. The high quality furniture in the living room leads through French window doors to the balcony or terrace and fully fitted kitchen. Upstairs, the bedroom contains a sumptuous 4 poster double bed for true romance! The rooms are equipped with cable television, stereo, a paperback library, safe and bathrobes. If you want to treat yourself, the fabulous three bedroomed suite is so close to the sea it almost feels like part of the apartment whilst the two bedroom Fort Suite has the extra luxury of a private roof top terrace with stunning views of the bay. New from December 2006 are six Vineyard Suites with 3 luxurious bedrooms, spacious sitting rooms and extensive verandahs.
