Location And Nearby Attractions

The modern, luxurious business hotel is surrounded by the 'Tiergarten', the second-largest city-centre park in Germany, which offers guests an inviting place to take walks or go jogging. It is centrally located between the Kurfürstendamm and the 'neue Mitte' area, only a short walk from the impressive Potsdamer Platz (approximately 2 km away). Zoologischer Garten and the railway station of the same name are only about 800 m away, as is the traditional department store Kaufhaus des Westens (KaDeWe) and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. Berlin's popular flagship shops are also close by. Thanks to the good transport connections, guests can easily explore all the tourist attractions; the government and embassy district, the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate are all within about 30 minutes' walking distance of the hotel. The historical centre is also not far away. By taxi or bus, guests can quickly and easily reach the Memorial to the German Resistance, Potsdamer Platz and the Kulturforum with the Philharmonie (concert hall), as well as the Gemäldegalerie and the Neue Nationalgalerie (both art museums). Tegel Airport is about 30 minutes away, while Schönefeld Airport can be reached in roughly 35 minutes.
