This is an iconic sculpture on a mountain top with panoramic views, a cafe and a gift shop. It is on the peak of Mount Nagakerd and is 25.45 wide and 45 metres high. It is made using Burmese marble and weighs 135 tonnes over 2,500sqm. It has a 360-degree view of the southern part of the island including Phuket Island, Kata Beach, Karon Beach and Chalong Bay.

This is a beach itself and the name of the town adjoining it on the west coast of Phuket. The beach has great snorkelling and diving sports and is wide enough so that even if there are lots of people around it never feels too busy. There are three main areas with a good variety of dining, shopping and entertainment options and the Buddhist temple which hosts the weekly market.

 

Sirinat National Park

The Sirinat National Park is located on the northwestern coast with pine-fringed beaches and nesting sea turtles. There are sea turtles who lay eggs on Hat mai Khao. It comprises the beaches of Nai Thon, Nai Yang and Mai Khao and a wildlife reserve, 22sqm of coastal land and 68sqm of sea. It is just 15 minutes from Phuket International Airport.
