Nobu
Celebrated chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa expands his eponymous empire with the debut of his first restaurant in Africa. His innovative blend of classically styled Japanese cuisine will incorporate fresh South African seafood and indigenous spices to create unique dishes such as toro tartar, rock shrimp and scallops in yuzu sauce as well as Mochi ice cream.
Maze by Gordon Ramsay
Seating up to 170 guests, maze at One&Only Cape Town is modelled on its British namesake, yet the tasting-sized dishes will evoke the bountiful flavours of the traditional recipes of South Africa. The restaurant will showcase the best in local seafood and game as well as fresh produce from organic South African farms. Guests will be invited to a visual feast in the restaurant’s open kitchen which will be ideal for show grilling and roasting.
Wine Loft
Home to the country’s largest and most innovative collection of South African wine – housed in a magnificent tri-level wine loft. Over 5,000 bottles of South African wine from vintages of Cape Pinotage and Shiraz to acclaimed and undiscovered South African vintages will be on offer. Guests dining at Gordon Ramsey’s adjacent maze restaurant will be encouraged to use the loft as a ‘walk-in’ wine list, led by one of the Sommeliers.
Island Terrace
An open-air venue catering to guests around he pool area will feature an all-day menu of refreshing snacks.
Vista Bar
At the heart of the Marina Rise this stylish and contemporary bar will connect Plate and Nobu adding a lively area to the lobby area. With amazing views of Table Mountain through an eight-metre high glass wall guests may enjoy light snacks by day and innovative cocktails by night.
In-Room Dining
From an elaborate five-course meal to a quick bite or late night snack; guests may enjoy a private dining experience created by an expert butler.
