The 155 bedroom Spier Hotel was built in 2000 on the banks of the Eerste River and has panoramic views of the Helderberg mountains and vineyards.

Wine Welcome Centre
The first stop for visitors to Spier is the Wine Welcome Centre where there are high tech information systems as well as guest relations ambassadors, to guide you through this wine wonderland.
Wine Centre
The Wine Centre is housed in an original Dutch gabled barn dating back to 1750 and it now houses wines from over 175 local wine estates including Spier’s own. Various wine tasting options are available to suit casual drinkers and connoisseurs alike.
Cheetah Outreach
Spier provides land for a Cheetah Outreach Programme hand-rearing cheetahs and working to ensure the survival of the free-ranging cheetah. This educational facility is a fascinating way to learn and get up-close and personal with these amazing big cats.
