It is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in the world perched between
wild, white-sand beaches and the magnificent Table Mountain.
As the oldest city in South Africa, Cape Town has a fascinating cultural heritage
spanning 300 years. Over the years the city has become a melting pot of cultures,
religions, styles and flavours when settlers interspersed with the indigenous people.
Today Cape Town is a stylish and vibrant city where new and old blend together in
history, architecture, cultural pursuits and the essence of its people, although
the legacy of the apartheid is still apparent.
In South Africa’s “Mother City” you can find a wide range of attractions, sights
and activities that will suit any budget. The scenic waterfront area has excellent
shopping and often has live bands, art exhibitions, plays and operas. The Cape Town
wineries are another great place to visit, producing some of the world’s finest
