When To Visit

A few degrees from the equator, the Seychelles enjoys warm weather all year round. Sitting comfortably around 30 degrees celsius, you'll find the climate pleasant and welcoming. Luxury travellers tend to visit the Seychelles from April to October as these months are great for sunbathing and snorkelling.

January through December and July through August are also popular months to visit. For surfing and windsurfing, visit from May to September. These months enjoy cooling southeast winds that whip up some stellar waves to ride on the southern coast.

Food & Drink

The Seychelles cuisine is a blend of Asian, Indian and European influences. Enjoy a luxury concoction of local staples like lemongrass, coriander, tamarind and ginger, served up with fresh seafood, tropical fruits and fragrant spices.

Fine dining is also on the menu at the Seychelles with lots of international cuisines on offer. Sample foods from la carte menus or experience the personal touch with a no-menu concept where the chef cooks specifically for you and your needs.

Passport & Visas

You should carry some identification with you at all times and it's also a good idea to keep a photocopy of your passport. A tourist visa is not required for British passport holders. Visit GOV.UK for more advice on passports, visas and travel.
