The Zimbali Lodge and Country Club is one of South Africa’s most exclusive hideaways, set within the serene confines of a coastal forest reserve of Kwa Zulu Natal, which is a natural sub tropical paradise. The hotel overlooks the incredible Indian Ocean and is surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful indigenous gardens.

This superb lodge is a five star boutique hotel and all the guest rooms offer five star luxury accommodations, designed to complement the natural surrounding forest and to reinforce the charm of African Classical architecture. The bathrooms are luxurious and feature Victorian baths from the turn of the century. Each room has a fully stocked mini bar and butlers are on hand to attend to your every need including room service. The Zimbali Lodge has a total of 76 rooms situated in individual lodges which are located away from the main lodge and are set in magnificent sub tropical gardens. Choose between luxury suites, king bedrooms and twin bedrooms, all of which come with a range of standard features and amenities. Some of these features include: satellite TV, radio, bathroom with separate shower, hairdryer, telephone with internet connection, a balcony with sea, lagoon and forest facing views as well as an 18 hour butler service, air conditioning and a daily newspaper delivered.

The Zimbali features a whole host of activities and facilities for you to enjoy during your stay. There is a beautiful pool area, horse riding, an 18 hole championship golf course, a selection of shops as well as a luxury health and beauty spa. The main dining restaurant at the Zimbali lodge is an intimate venue which is lavishly designed to reflect a colonial ambiance with crafted wooden furniture and specially designed fabrics. The chef only uses fresh local produce to produce a delicious array of delectable gourmet delights for you to savour in an elegant yet relaxed setting.
