The Elephant House is an exclusive 9 bed roomed lodge that is situated near the Addo Elephant National Park in the picturesque Sundays River Valley. It is a charming country lodge of picturesque thatched buildings which offers a high level of personal service from the friendly owners and attentive staff. The Elephant House fuses images of African, Moorish and colonial design. It is a place where you can relax in intimate seclusion which makes it the ideal destination for a romantic honeymoon.

The 9 spacious bedrooms at the Elephant House open out onto courtyards and private verandas. They are decorated to exude understated elegance in a way that evokes a colonial and African ambiance. The suites are superbly furnished with sumptuous fabrics and opulent fixtures; they also feature items from the owner’s private collection of antiques, Persian rugs and Afrikana art. Children are welcomed at the lodge with baby sitting services on request. Children also have full use of the “Club Room” which has games, a TV with a DVD library and a laptop computer.
