The Lodge is situated in the Shamwari Game Reserve, which boasts 20,000 hectares of malaria free, private game reserve in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Here, you will have the opportunity to experience wildlife in their natural habitat including all the Big 5 and many more.

Accommodation at the Bushman’s River Lodge comprises of four deluxe, en suite, air conditioned rooms. The pure indulgent opulence of the lodges is set against an enchanting contrast of the rugged wilderness of the African bush. The rooms are decorated in a traditional ethnic style whilst maintaining an air of classic elegance where you can relax and indulge in luxury.

Activities from the lodge include morning and evening game drives or walking safaris which are accompanied by your personal ranger. The Shamwari game reserve prides itself on the knowledge and expertise of their rangers. In the evenings, you can relax under the thatched boma with a cocktail and absorb the sights and sounds of the Bushman’s River Valley.
