The Shamwari Riverdene Lodge is described as elegance within the wilderness with a distinct colonial African experience. The Lodge is set in 20,000 hectares of private game reserve in the Easter Cape of South Africa. You will have the opportunity to view a variety of big game in its stunning natural habitat on professionally guided tours. With superb service and first class accommodation it is easy to see why guests choose to return to the Shamwari Riverdene Lodge time and time again.

The exclusive Riverdene Lodge sleeps a total of 18 guests. Each of the rooms at the lodge is fully furnished and features a range of luxurious facilities some of which include air conditioning, television, telephone and small lounge area. Each en suite sandstone bathroom has a his and hers vanity basin and a separate shower and bath. All of the rooms also feature private balconies that lead out onto the landscaped gardens.

The Resort features two elegantly furnished casual lounges and a glorious sun room as well as a magnificent rim flow swimming pool enticing guests to relax and restore their energies. The lounge opens out onto a spacious outdoor barbeque area and as with all the lodges within the Shamwari Game Reserve, guests receive personal attention from their assigned rangers.
