Each modern, stylish and sophisticated apartment has a fully fitted kitchen (including a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a microwave, an oven and a cooking hob) as well as a lounge area (featuring a large Plasma TV, an iPod docking station and a DVD player). There is also an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Complimentary WLAN Internet access is available. A hairdryer, a double or king-size bed, a direct dial telephone, a radio, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, central heating and individually adjustable air conditioning also come as standard. The apartments are located on a quiet street right in the city centre, 2 minutes' walk from Princes Street, 5 minutes' walk from the historical Royal Mile and a 2-minute walk from various public transport links. Edinburgh Castle is about 15 minutes away on public transport, as is John Knox House and the Dynamic Earth Museum. Holyrood Palace is just 20 minutes from the hotel. Waverley Train Station is just 5 minutes away by foot. Edinburgh Airport is approximately 17 km away.
If travelling from Edinburgh Airport, head south on Gogar Bridge Road. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Eastfield Avenue. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Eastfield Road. Go straight ahead at the roundabout. Take the ramp onto A8/Glasgow Road. Bear left at Glasgow Road. Turn left at A902/Maybury Road. Go straight ahead at the roundabout. Bear right at the A90/Queensferry Road, and continue to follow the A90. Turn left at the A902/Telford Road. At Crewe Toll, take the 3rd exit onto the A902/Ferry Road. Turn right at B901/Inverleith Row. Continue to follow the B901. Go straight on at the next two roundabouts. At Picardy Place roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A900/Leith Street. Bear left at Calton Hill. Bear right at Calton Road. The hotel is on the left-hand side.
