Egypt experiences a mostly desert climate and is known for its hot and sunny weather virtually all year round. Summer is June through to September but even winter has plenty of sun during December to February with a pleasant climate of 20 – 26 degrees. Being located on the southerly point of the Sinai Peninsula Sharm El Sheikh, although hot, has relatively low levels of humidity which make it much more bearable.
