Fancourt Hotel & Country Club Estate is South Africa’s premier golfing and leisure destination. The Hotel and Estate lies at the foot of the majestic Outeniqua Mountains, in the heart of the world-famous Garden Route district. This beautifully manicured estate comprises a hotel of rare distinction, homes and leisure facilities positioned around three highly rated Championship golf courses. This picturesque hotel seamlessly fuses contemporary luxuries with Old World Charm which make this hotel very distinctive and unique.

Guests at Fancourt can choose between a room in the beautifully restored 19th Century Manor House or one of the stately Garden Suites (1 or 2 bedroomed) and Studios, or one of the Executive Series that are more modern and contemporary in style abd overlook the Driving Range and gardens. At the Manor house you will rediscover 19th century classic luxury, with 34 bedrooms situated in wooded parkland, it is the perfect tranquil haven for you to escape to. Choose between Standard, Executive and Deluxe rooms each offering its own character and unique tailor made facilities. Alternatively, you may wish to choose one of the secluded Garden suites or studios. These are situated in the scenic gardens which are the most peaceful of all the accommodations set amongst the lush vegetation and vibrant colours of the flowering plants.

Fancourt has three  excellent restaurants offering a variety of outstanding dining experiences in elegant and picturesque surroundings. All the restaurants bear testimony to Fancourt’s reputation as purveyors of fine cuisine; from the freshly caught seafood dishes of Le Pecheur to the modern African cuisine of Sansibar, whilst Morning Glory, situated int he Spa, overlooks the first tee of the outeniqua golf course and offers healthy, light fare with an emphasis on organic produce.

 

Fancourt is also home to an indulgent luxury spa offering guests the choice of a myriad of treatments, as well as three premier 18 hole, Gary-Player designed golf courses including The Links, The Outeniqua and Montagu, which are all recognised as some of the finest in South Africa.
