The Hunters Country House is an exclusive family owned retreat, set in the magnificent Garden Route of the Western Cape. This gracious original homestead is surrounded by beautiful gardens and framed by the majestic mountains of Tsitsikamma. This luxury residence provides the perfect base to explore all that the fantastic Garden Route has to offer!

The Manor house is set in beautiful, extensive gardens in which can be found 21 luxurious cottages and suites. Each of the rooms and suites have been individually decorated and designed for absolute comfort and privacy. All rooms and suites feature a spacious living area complete with a good selection of modern amenities. Many of the Suites also offers private pools and sun terraces.

Hunters Country House offers a good range of facilities for guests to enjoy. The romantic and beautifully appointed candle lit dining room is the perfect setting to enjoy a delectable selection of delicious gourmet cuisine prepared by the Hunters acclaimed team of chefs. The Summerhouse is a great place for relaxed informal dining overlooking the gardens. The gardens feature a beautifully landscaped swimming pool complete with sun terraces and shaded salas. Other facilities at Hunters Country House include a beautiful sun lounge in which to relax during the day, a kids club and business facilities. Local activities which can be arranged by the staff include bird watching, horse riding, sailing, mountain-biking, golf, scuba diving, flying, and whale and dolphin watching.
