‘Jewel by the wharf’

Named after the entrepreneur with a humble upbringing, Henry Jones Art Hotel is Hobart’s harbour side property adorned with the work of local visual and performing artists. A combination of antique features dating back to the early 1900’s including an original staircase and timber ceiling sit in contrast to modern touches like its welcoming glass atrium. The hotel was formerly a jam factory and in several locations such as the bar and restaurant there is homage paid to this through art and design.
