Wedding Requirements

In Sri Lanka a couple will need to provide original copies of the following legal documentation for the wedding ceremony:

• Birth Certificates of the couple

• Passports of the couple

• If divorced or widowed, a Decree Absolute or death certificate.

• There is a minimum age restriction of 21 according to government regulation.
