Wedding Requirements |
It is easy to get married in St. Lucia. To obtain a marriage license in St. Lucia,
a local solicitor must apply for the license on your behalf. They will send the
application to the Attorney General who will issue the marriage licence after a
2 day minimum period. Although there are no residency requirements in St. Lucia,
the paperwork to issue a marriage license can take up to 4-5 days to process, so
couples are advised to arrive in St. Lucia several days before their wedding day.
Special ‘fast-tracked’ licenses are available at an extra cost and enable a marriage
license to be processed within one day. The associated fees are as follows:
Notarial fees + Marriage license EC$302.50
Registrar Fees EC$120
Marriage Certificate EC$8

• If a divorcee, proof of Decree Absolute is required.
