OverviewThe all-inclusive 730-room Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort has recently completed a multi-million pound rebuild and refurbishment. The resort sits on the longest beach in Ocho Rios with five pools and a full programme of daytime activities. Guests can also enjoy an abundance of fun after the sun goes down with a new Entertainment Pavilion. This is a family resort but also Jamaica's largest conference hotel (formerly the Renaissance Jamaica Grande). The resorts newly opened Lighthouse Waterslide provides fun for all ages: with 2 chutes that twist and turn, splashing you into either the pool or the sea. AccommodationRooms, brightened with tropical colours, are divided between two high-rise towers with the best views found in the north tower. An open-air lobby links the resort’s two guestroom towers, which overlook the Caribbean Sea and Jamaica’s green countryside.
Private balconies, wood furniture and cool tile floors can be found in all 730 rooms and suites. All include either a king size or two double beds; modern bathroom amenities; in-room safes; direct-dial telephones with voicemail; iron boards; hairdryer; color satellite televisions and individually controlled air conditioning.
Resort View: Each room features a private balcony overlooking the resort or Ocho Rios. Rooms are located in the north and south towers.
Ocean View: Peer into the lush hillside from your balcony or catch a glimpse of the sparkling Caribbean from the north or south towers.
Ocean Front: Both north and south towers boast these lavish, beachfront rooms, all with a private balcony.
Cabana Beach Front: King-sized beds and private patios distinguish these superb rooms, located in the two-story Cabana wing along the South Pointe Beachfront. Recommended for wedding couples and honeymooners, the maximum occupancy is two adults. Restaurants and BarsThe Sunser Jamaica Grande features seven speciality dining venues including 5 restaurants and 2 beach grills. Guests can choose from Italian, Chinese and other international favorites in seven specialty restaurants. From buffets and theme parties to traditional Jamaican Jerk Chicken with a cold Red Stripe Beer.The resort’s eight bars are great places to unwind and socialise; beach bars and swim-up bars to lobby bars and a nightclub.
