Overview

The Pimalai Resort and Spa is an elegant boutique resort on the beautiful island of Koh Lanta in the Andaman Sea, Southern Thailand. They offer 79 luxuriously appointed rooms, suites and villas decorated in southern Thai style. The resort occupies 100 acres of lush tropical forest with direct access to a 900 meter stretch of pristine sandy beach.

Guest Rooms

The resort features 79 lavishly appointed rooms, suites and villas with a sleek, contemporary, Thai-style design. Room types include Superior rooms located in 16 low-rise Thai houses, and Bayfront Deluxe rooms situated in individual pavillions with large balconies and great views of the bay. The Pavillion Suites offer one or two bed accommodation nestled amongst the lush tropical landscape.The Beach Villas are hidden amongst coconut palms and offer direct access to Ba Kan Tang beach. The Beach Villas offer spacious accommodation in a choice of one, two or three bedrooms and private sundecks and beautiful bathrooms with separate rain showers and double vanity basins. The Pool Villas are set back on the hillside which is covered by rainforest and boast unrivalled ocean views. They also feature stunning infinity pools and come with a choice of one, two or three bedrooms. They also feature private sun terraces, rain-showers and deep soaking tubs. Standard facilities in all room types include private balconies or gardens, air conditioning, desk and lounger, plush bathrobes, toiletries, separate bath and walk-in shower, and hairdryer.

 

Facilities

The Pimalai Resort & Spa not only offers a fantastic service and world class accommodation but an extensive range of facilities too! Leisure facilities at the resort include a 35 metre long, freshwater infinty pool and jacuzzi, a second childrens pool and jacuzzi, poolbar, fully equipped Fitness Room, library and internet room, fully equipped Dive Centre with qualified instructors, and a luxury Spa. The Pimalai Spa offers a number of fantastic Spa packages which include treatments such as massages, scrubs, wraps and facials. Activities that guests can participate in include the popular elephant trekking, trips to Lanta Marine National Park, island excursions, squid safari sunset cruises, thai cookery and cycling. Water sports at the resort include canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, boogie boarding, and waterskiing. The resort offers a number of renowned, excellent restaurants. The main restaurant, Baan Pimalai serves a range of Thai and western food and offers a superb buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner menus. The Rak Talay Restaurant is situated on the beach by the beautiful Andaman Sea. The menu features light snacks, including salads, pasta, pizzas and sandwiches. During the evenings, freshly caught and grilled seafood and a variety of light stir fried Thai style dishes are also available. The Spice 'N Rice Thai Restaurant offers a range of traditional, aromatic Thai food in a contemporary setting. The Seven Seas Wine Bar and Restaurant offers an a la carte menu and is great for relaxing in the evenings with a cocktail or glass of wine. In addition to all this, the Pimalai Resort and Spa has a number of business facilities including dedicated meeting and function rooms complete with the latest technology and meeting services.
