The Bongani Mountain Lodge is located within the picturesque frontiers of the Mtheethomusha Game Reserve which is adjacent to the internationally renowned Kruger National Park. It is a traditional camp which offers you a true taste of the African safari experience and a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the majestic wildlife of the savannah in their natural habitat. Accommodation is comfortable and relaxed and allows you to get up close and personal with nature. Defined by the mammoth granite rocks which surround the camp, it is like a gateway to another world where you can escape to relax. It is the ideal location for an exclusive romantic getaway for couples.

Accommodation at the Bongani Mountain lodge comprises of 20 chalets, 9 suites and one Presidential suite. Each of the chalets and suites come with a comprehensive range of modern amenities to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. Features include a veranda, an ensuite bathroom with air conditioning and ceiling fans. All of the accommodation has been thoughtfully styled in traditional African décor and carefully selected pieces of local artwork and handcrafted furniture. The Bongani Mountain Lodge strives to offers their guests an authentic South African adventure experience, whilst at the same time retaining the little luxuries of modern life.

Dining at the Bongai Mountain lodge is a unique and memorable experience.The camp offers guests the opportunity to experience bush banqueting and a variety of authentic African speciality cuisine. Meals are served in a traditional African Boma dining area that is full of atmosphere created by the roaring fire. Alternative indoor dining is also available for a more formal dining experience. Dining is accompanied by live entertainment with traditional local African dancers and celebratory events. Other facilities available within the camp comprise of a bar, library as well as dining and sitting areas which are all thoughtfully appointed to add to your into Africa experience. Of course the main feature of the resort is its superb game viewing, which takes place on professionally guided tours which will hope to introduce you to all the Big 5.
