The accommodation at the Mala Mala is a fusion of luxurious contemporary living and authentic African tradition. There are 18 luxurious rooms in total; each one is a bungalow under a traditional thatched roof. Each of the air conditioned rooms enjoys spectacular views of the surrounding bush and features “his” and “hers” ensuite bathrooms, insect proof screens and top quality large twin beds. Individually decorated, they feature sets of animal or bird prints, complementing the attention to detail for which Mala Mala is world famous. Despite the comfort and luxury on offer, the Mala Mala still retains an authentic outdoor safari atmosphere.

Dinner at the Mala Mal is served in a magnificent grand old African manner, under the stars in a reed enclosed boma, a Mala Mala tradition. You can relax around a log fire, under the starry African sky, enjoying superb food and outstanding South African wines, a highlight of the Mala Mala experience.
