Hotel Overview
‘Luxurious, enchanting and authentic’
One of The Leading Small Hotels of the World and built on a 3.5 hectare site within the walls of the old city of Marrakech, Royal Mansour pays homage to a traditional medina within its collection of 53 riads connected by winding alleyways and tranquil Andalusian courtyards. Each riad comprises a bar and living area with bedrooms on the first floor; some with a dining room. Roof terraces with sun beds and private pools provide unrivalled views over bustling souks and elegant minarets to the Atlas Mountains beyond; underground tunnels between the riads enable staff to provide attentive yet unobtrusive service
‘King Mohammed VI's pet project has taken 4 years to complete and opened in June 2010. 1000 craftsmen toiled away to create this one of a kind city within a city where servants appear almost out of thin air thanks to some cleverly concealed passageways. Guests have their own riads rather than guest rooms, and if you can stretch to the prices then you won’t be disappointed - winding paths, delicate fountains, marble pavements and Moorish arches are just the beginning. Inside, the riads are decorated with intricate zellige tilework, carved cedarwood and silk-smooth tadelakt plaster. Wow – wow - wow’
