All you need do is pick your favourite picnic spot from the 36 acres of tropical gardens and you will be provided with all essential picnic accessories, from the wine cooler to the cushions. Chefs can create wholesome meals ranging from simple salads to fresh fish and game.
Nira Spa Cuisine
Featuring healthier, lighter preparations, Nira Spa cuisine reflects traditional styles of cooking in a contemporary manner. The chef's aim is to achieve a fine balance between flavours and rejuvenating nourishment; technique makes use of water, milk, broths, citrus juices, wine, oils, cereals, grains and lentils blending ancient Ayurvedic concepts, yogic arts and macrobiotic foods.
Grandma’s Kitchen (New for 2011)
Shanti Maurice introduced a totally new experience for guests which will enable them to visit and dine at the home of one of their own team. This is a an experience which begins with a cookery masterclass from Grandma herself in her own home; she will introduce the ingredients sourced from local markets and explain how they will be used. Guests will sit family style around one table and continue the culinary journey in the company of Grandma who will continue to chat and relay stories. After the meal guests will leave her home with a mini cookbook of handwritten recipes, photos and cooking tips.
