Dress Code

T-shirts, Vest, cut-off shorts and swim wear with a wrap are accepted during the day but are not permitted during the night in the restaurants. Smart tailored shorts, trousers, slacks, short-sleeve shirts, polo shirts, skirts, dresses, shoes or sandals are accepted in the Blue Turtle, the Main Restaurant and Pizza Garden for dinner. Shorts are not accepted in the Blue Turtle in the evening. When wearing swimming costumes at lunch, please cover from shoulder to knee with either a wrap, long T-shirt or sundress when eating in the dining room. Please use a wrap for hygiene reasons during lunch.

Main Restaurant
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers both smoking and non smoking areas overlooking Watamu Beach. Buffet style meals are served here vegetarian and children’s menus are provided (children have a specific 30 minute dining window each day)
Pizza Restaurant
Serves home made pizzas, pastas, salad bar and soups overlooking the fishponds. Open for both lunch and dinner.
Blue Turtle
Waiter service restaurant - advance bookings only.  Treat yourself with a choice from the fine a la carte menu. Guests pay an additional charge for dining here – but a visit comes thoroughly recommended. 
Snack Bar
Poolside snack bar with cookie station open throughout the day, and midnight snacks served between 23:00 – 00:00.

Bird Watching: The Arabuko-Sokoke Forest is considered an important venue for bid conservation projects and its here that you’ll find a hugely impressive array of endangered birds like the spotted ground thrush, Sokoke Scops owl, Sokoke Pipit, East Coast Akalat and Amani Sunbird. The forest is also home to the Calrke’s Weaver which is found nowhere else in the World. Guests can explore both here and the Malindi – Watamu coastline as well as Whale Island for a further array of attractive and rarely seen species.
Safari: The Tsavo East National Park or the Shimba Hills National Reserve and Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary can be experienced from the resort with a recommended stopover.
