Nelson & Abel Tasman holidays are invariably linked together. Abel Tasman National Park is located at the north end of the South Island and is popular for hiking and kayaking, and is split by Totaranui Beach, which offers a 1km stretch of white sand beach perfect for relaxation after a long walk. At the bottom of nearby Tasman Bay, you’ll find the city of Nelson which is popular for its array of arts and crafts and plays host to the Nelson Arts Festival on an annual basis.
