Overview
The newly opened, much anticipated 5 star Shangri La Barr Al Jissah Resort complex comprises of 3 hotels; the Al Waha, Al Bandar and Al Husn. The Al Bandar hotel is the centre of this exclusive resort and has a calming and peaceful feel to it with open public areas in which to sit and relax surrounded by lush green plants and water features. The resort is located along the southeast Arabian Peninsula, famous for its beautiful beaches and fascinating local culture and heritage. Nearby the resort guests can visit traditional markets, ancient forts, majestic Mosques and gold and spice Souks. The Al Bandar hotel has extensive sports and leisure facilities which include a fully equipped Health and Fitness Club with a gymnasium and daily classes, a PADI dive centre and scuba diving, and the Chi Spa with rejuvenating body treatments, tennis courts, 6000 sq metres of swimming pools, dolphin and whale watching trips and much more. There is also a shopping mall at the resort which caters to guest’s daily needs.
