Hotel Details

The Indian Ocean Lodge is set on the west coast of Praslin and offers guests a relaxing take on the Seychelles life style. The beaches seem to stretch out endlessly on both sides of the hotel. Grand Anse beach is also the longest beach on the island. The hotel has an aura of genuine charm as the airy rooms are set in an attractive 2 storey hotel surrounded by natural tropical foliage. It is approximately a 15 minute journey to the airport but feels worlds away in this idyllic beachside retreat. For local culture then the quaint Grande Anse Village is only a five minute walk away.

These sea facing rooms are set within a colonial style building and have a king size four poster bed as well as their own patio and terrace which overlooks the islands beyond the shoreline.

The centrally located restaurant and bars offer great views whilst guests enjoy the varied cuisines. These informal eateries serve local and international cuisine. The main bar is open throughout the day for cooling refreshments. Right by the beach are the swimming pools with a surrounding decking chair and sun loungers. The beach is the perfect place for swimming and sunbathing on its sparkling white sand. It is a great opportunity to try out different water sports that are on offer such as snorkelling. The hotel offers a complimentary daily shuttle service to the Cote D’or Beach. There are other excursions available such as visits to neighbouring islands. Near to the hotel is the National Park and nature trail.
