Each of the luxurious and spacious rooms at Taprobana have been individually designed so that each of the rooms is unique with it own distinct characteristics and features. Great attention has been paid to detail within each of the guest rooms, with a thoughtful décor that is both stylish and contemporary whilst retaining an affinity with traditional Sri Lankan design. The rooms are decorated with rich textiles contrasted with crisp linens, opulent dark woods and are furnished with carefully chosen pieces of object d’art and antiques from Sri Lanka’s rich colonial past and ancient heritage. Guest staying at the Taru Villas at Taprobana can choose between standard and superior rooms, of which superior rooms have additional space and added luxury amenities. Each of the rooms at the resort however, feature luxurious en suite bathrooms with guest amenities, large balconies and terraces that look out onto idyllic views of the lily ponds and frangipani trees or across the coconut palms and towards the azure blue of the Indian Ocean. Also included are overhead fans, air conditioning, a laundry services and twice daily housekeeping.
