The East Winds Inn is a true 'Caribbean Resort', secluded and romantically set amongst 8 acres of lush tropical gardens, on the golden beach-front of one of the best and most sheltered bays of St. Lucia. Yet, the resort is located just 5 miles from the lively capital, Castries. The resort consists of 30 rooms and 1 'mini-suite' located in 15 single storey cottages and offers a wide range of elegant facilities, including an open-air restaurant and elegant bar, a small shop boutique annd a lovely free form swimming pool with its own swim up bar.

The facilities at the East Winds Inn are high quality and include an excellent International/ Caribbean restaurant which offers daily vegetarian options, all of which are carefully complemented by an enticing choice of different wines. The East Winds Inn Chef Franck Chevrier, has won over the years several accolades and gold and silver medals in the many local and regional cuisine fairs and exhibitions. Guests can now also enjoy these culinary delights in a romantic private dining experience in the new Palm Beach gazebos on the ocean front. The hotel also has several bars including the Sunset Bar, Pool Bar and cocktail bar in the Club House. The hotel has a private pristine sandy beach adorned with comfy sunbeds perfect for relaxing on and a refreshing free-form swimming pool.

The 10 Superior rooms are all "rondavels" of a large hexagonal shape with a walk-in shower and adjoining walk-in wardrobe/service area with a small bar-sink unit and a large semicircular shaded patio. The 16 Deluxe rooms are also large and located in more recently built garden-bungalows. They feature a spacious bathroom with "His & Hers" basins and a wide semi-open-air shower, a small "lobby" with a spacious wardrobe and dressing table and a/c. The open-air bar-sink and fridge units are a feature of the wide covered terrace through which the rooms are all independently accessed. Remote control cable television and VCR are special features of the deluxe rooms. The 3 Oceanfront rooms have only recently been added to the hotel inventory through the complete renovation of a larger "cottage" of which they occupy one wing. Located at the front of the property, closer to the beach, they offer a great sea-view from their small "traditional" balconies. The Mini Suite is also a recent addition, as part of "The cottage" refurbishment. The suite is ocean facing and has a small separate sitting room (with its own cloakroom) and a large private sun-deck terrace with outdoor shower.
