The Westin is located in the listed redevelopment of the General Post Office, a famous historical building. Flanked either side by Pitt and George Street and just minutes to Pitt Street Mall, The Opera House and Darling Harbour, this is prime location and a classical elegant choice for your hotel base. The large bedrooms are all fitted with the trademark 'heavenly' bed, which afford comfort and luxury in equal measure.

Rooms have a choice of 1 king or 2 double beds, bathroom with separate bath or shower, bathrobe, work stattion, TV, in room air conditioning, iron and ironing board, safe, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, The majority of the Tower rooms are situated in the actual building of the GPO and have floor to ceiling glass windows giving stunning views of Sydney city and are decorated in stainless steel, glass, pale wood and neutral fabric Executive Suites have a separate bedroom and lounge area, The Westin executive club offers complimentary use of the health club, clothing press and access to the club lounge for complimentary continental breakfast, evening drinks and canapes The presidential suite has a high security suite on the 31st floor with floor to ceiling glass, kitchen, guest bathroom and a circluar lounge area Heritage rooms are carved from the original 3 floors of the heritage listed GPO building.

Health club ($20 per visit), 13m heated indoor pool, Joh Bailey hair and beauty spa, food emporium and exclusive retail outlets.

The hotel has the Mosaic restaurant offering al fresco dining on the large open balcony under a glass atrium overlooking the old GPO forecourt. The restaurant serves contemporary Australian dishes. The Bar is one of Sydneys hot spots, centrally located in the foyer.
