Are you a junior level Designer with at least one year's in-house or agency experience? Are you proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud? Would you like to join the Design  team of an award winning luxury travel company? Then we would be interested to hear from you!

We are seeking a Junior Designer to join our existing Design team and report in to the Lead Designer.

The Primary Tasks of this role include:

  • working collaboratively with all teams to ensure that the brand’s digital and marketing objectives and strategies are met
  • collaborating with colleagues to create visually appealing designs
  • contribute to our continuous development by providing unique design insights for our print and digital projects
  • producing print-and web-ready designs, from concept through to completion
  • contributing to reviewing, updating, and maintaining our brand and style guidelines
  • Performing any other duties consistent with the skillset of the individual as required by the organisation from time to time.

The Essential Skills, knowledge and experience we require for this role include:

  • Minimum of 1 year’s work experience either in-house or at an agency
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating visual design capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Knowledge/Experience of responsive design principles.
  • Knowledge/Experience of print design & production.
  • The ability to see ideas through from conception to delivery in an agile environment.
  • Familiarity with email marketing
  • Flexible and agile way of working
  • Able to work collaboratively with Design, IT and Marketing colleagues  
  • Passionate about creating visually appealing designs
  • Customer focussed and able to see things through our customers eyes while taking into account business objectives
  • A love for design and keeping up to date with current trends and best practice.
  • Excellent Attention to detail
  • 'Can do' attitude
  • Able to prioritise and manage workload effectively

 

Desirable Skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Proficiency with Sketch/OSX
  • Ability to prototype patterns/concept

Qualifications:

  • Good standard of secondary education

We are based in Bolton near the Macron Stadium with easy access to motorways and free onsite parking or a short walk from Horwich Parkway station.

The hours of work for this role are 37.5 hours per week and the working pattern is Monday to Friday  9.00am - 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch break

The Salary range for this role is £18,000- £24,000 per annum dependent on experience. You will also be eligible to participate in our performance related bonus scheme.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Accountant to join our finance team to partner the business in relation to our commercial activity.

The main responsibilities will be :

• To provide financial and analytical support to the business but with particular emphasis on the Commercial (Product); Marketing; and Finance Departments

• To assist the business in making key strategic decisions

• Understanding the business strategy and sales positions in order to maintain accurate and up to date forecasts and budgets

• Review of operating costs and efficiencies

• To drive forward a strategy that optimises margins across the business, through effective pricing of products

• Review and recommend strategies for reducing cost and improving productivity

• To assist in the preparation of detailed annual budgets and strategy plans

• To provide financial and analytical support to the business but with particular emphasis on the Commercial (Product); Marketing; and Finance Departments

The person we are seeking will :

• Have a background in Accounting/Costing, ideally in the travel industry, and ideally have experience in a Commercial Accountant role

• Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified

• Have a strong analytical eye

• Have an understanding of the impact of decisions on the business now and in the future

• Have the ability to communicate with finance and non finance personnel;

• Have Comprehensive knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel; Powerpoint; Word;

• be a self-starter who is able to work to deadlines and prioritise accordingly;

• be able to influence, reasoning, problem-solve

Knowledge and experience of Tableau is desirable/advantageous

 

Salary will be dependent upon experience but circa £35,000- £45,000 per annum

The role will be based at our Head office on the outskirts of Bolton.
