When To Visit
Holidays to the Amalfi Coast are arguably best enjoyed in April, May, and June. The weather will be pleasant but not too hot, every hotel and restaurant will be open, and the sea will still be warm enough for swimming.
However, if you love the buzz of summer, reliable sunny days of around 30 degrees will greet you until September. The warm weather often continues through October, giving you ample opportunity to make the most of the Amalfi Coast's attractions in the autumn too.
Food & Drink
Famous for its fresh seafood, home-grown ingredients, and fine wine, the Amalfi Coast has an enviable culinary reputation. And whilst you'll find delicious pasta sauces, fine cheese, and indulgent desserts in every town, each has its own specialities.
The most fervent of foodies may even want to plan their Amalfi Coast holidays around one of the area’s many gastronomy festivals, which include Sagra della Salsiccia e Ceppone in Sorrento, Gusta Minori in Minori, and Sagra del Tonno in Cetara.
