Luxury Goa Holidays

Overview

This state on the coast of India provides a contrast to some of the countries better-known destinations. In Goa you will find a more relaxed pace of life, from the sleepy fishing villages where locals go about their daily catch, to the 600m high waterfalls accessed through lush forest.

With over 80 miles of coastline, Goa offers the perfect retreat after a journey through India’s more hectic cities. There are around 30 beaches to choose from here, all with golden sands encircled by warm waters.

A territory of Portugal from the 16th-century to 1961, Portuguese influences can be seen throughout Goa and give the state a unique feel compared to the rest of India. This can be seen from the food to the architecture, like the Basilica of Bom Jesus which has received UNESCO status.
