At the heart of Krabi Province lies Krabi Town, a vibrant settlement set amidst the dramatic stony and forested landscapes. Just a short drive from Krabi Airport, the town provides vital transport links with the surrounding area. To the west, beyond the curling Krabi River estuary, lies many smaller towns and resorts. Within close distance to Krabi are some fantastic attractions including Railay Beach, Ao Nang, and Noppharat Thara. When To Visit
The weather in Krabi remains relatively consistent year-round, with temperatures ranging from the mid-twenties to the early thirties Celsius. The driest and coldest month is January, although temperatures rarely dip below 22 degrees Celsius, while the warmest temperatures usually occur in April towards the end of the dry season.
Typically, more rain falls from May onwards, with average rainfall peaking in September and October. Outside of the wettest months, rainfall is usually brief and quickly replaced by sunshine.
