Luxury Las Vegas Holidays

Overview

Las Vegas, an oasis of glitz and glamour, lays at the heart of Nevada’s Mojave Desert. Sin City includes temptations like designer shopping experiences, 24-hour mega casinos, thrilling rooftop roller coaster rides and sexy stage shows. Venture beyond Las Vegas, and you’ll discover Nevada’s sleepy villages and stunning nature. Luxury Las Vegas and Nevada holidays offer the ultimate escape.

Las Vegas is a special place, showcasing the best of several countries with famous themed hotels and iconic replicas. You can visit the Eiffel Tower, Roman palaces, the canals of Venice, New York City and so much more. Stroll the bright lights of the Strip with its mega casinos, epic ziplines, futuristic theme parks, innovative art galleries and unusual museums like the Neon Museum with its collection of historical Vegas signs.

Vegas isn't all about the glittering skyline and casinos. Just north of the city, natural wonders await. Trek the Valley of Fire State Park, where you’ll discover unique bright red sandstone formations and America’s ancient history. On your hike, you can see ancient rock art carved into sprawling canyons and magical balancing rocks. At nearby Lake Mead National Recreation Area, you can hike one of America’s most diverse parks featuring mountain treks, a canyon river perfect for fishing, and the iconic Hoover Dam – one of the top construction achievements in the 20th century.

Travel west to Henderson, a laid-back suburb by Lake Las Vegas. It's a scenic town with lots of greenery and views of rugged mountain peaks. Go to the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve, where you can spot local wildlife or tour the Las Vegas Distillery, where you can sample iconic whiskeys from Nevada's first craft distillery.

When To Visit

The weather in Las Vegas and Nevada is warm and dry with mild winters, making it the perfect year-round luxury holiday destination. Summer days are quite warm with highs above 30 degrees Celsius and plenty of sunshine.

On warm days, cool off in luxury hotel pools or in air-con rooms. Spring and autumn see cooler temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius while December and January see highs of 15 degrees Celsius. As mostly desert territory, rains are relatively rare and night time temperatures are significantly colder.

Food & Drink

Like the city itself, your luxury Las Vegas hotel will provide star-studded dining experiences with foods from around the world. Dine on meals cooked by award-winning celebrity chefs in Michelin-starred restaurants. Enjoy signature dishes by master chefs like Gordon Ramsay such as fresh seafood, prime steaks and gourmet buffets.

Try authentic cuisines from China, France, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, and Thailand. Sample cocktails prepared by expert mixologists while gazing across the twinkling lights of the city, sip champagne by the poolside or unwind with local artisan beer or Nevada wine.

Passport & Visas

As with any holiday, it's a good idea to carry some identification with you. British citizens need to qualify for the Visa Waiver Programme to enter the USA. Visit GOV.UK for more advice on passports, visas and travel.
