Luxury Phu Quoc Holidays

Overview

Retreat to your own piece of paradise, where white sandy shores, turquoise seas, and a jungle-clad interior define the landscape, whilst the upscale resorts, swanky bars, and a boutique shopping scene make up the entertainment. Embark on a luxury Phu Quoc Island holiday for sun, sea, and sand.

The district of Phu Quoc is located off the coast of Cambodia, and consists of 28 islands, many of which are uninhabited. Phu Quoc Island is the most popular of the islands and is also the largest, with a growing reputation as the premier beach destination in Vietnam, and it's easy to see why.

Ringed with white-sand beaches, home to stretches of tropical jungle, and a host of world-class diving sites, the landscape alone is worth a visit. The best way to kick off a stay on Phu Quoc Island is to investigate the glorious beaches. Go to Khem Beach, and admire the iridescent waters of Emerald Bay, or Sao Beach, prized as the "crown jewel" of Phu Quoc Island, and don't forget to make time for Long Beach, ideal for watching the dreamy sunsets.

You'll also find surrounding waters of the island feature large areas of coastal ecosystems, and is one of the few areas in Vietnam where you can see species like the dugong, hawksbill turtle and green turtle. During the day, you can revel in the languid tropical nature of Phu Quoc, and visit picturesque fishing villages like Ham Ninh Village.

Then, when the sun sets, hit the bustling Dinh Cau Night Markets, where you can try mouthwatering local delicacies.

When To Visit

Phu Quoc Island boasts beach holiday weather throughout the year with daily averages between 23-32°C. A consistent sea breeze means that even in the higher temperatures, the climate on the island is comfortable.

Escape winter back at home, and head to Phu Quoc Island and relax in the warmth. The months of November to May are ideal for diving, with a clear sky and an even clearer sea. The green season arrives from May to October, and provides stunning views of lush streams and an island in full bloom.

Food & Drink

Showcasing traditional Vietnamese flavours, fine-dining options in luxury hotels usually include fresh seafood and ocean views. Try popular Vietnamese dishes, like spring rolls, bún chảand phở soup.

Gourmet international options are also easy to come by here, and you can dine on Italian wood-fired pizzas, Mediterranean specialties, French cuisine, and even delicious Cantonese dishes. You'll also be able to select premium wines to go with your dinner during a stay on Phu Quoc Island.
