Located on the northern Musandam Peninsula in the Sultanate of Oman, Zighy Bay is nicknamed the Norway of Arabia for its fjord-like landscape of rolling cliffs and flawless sandy bays. It's a great place to relax and to find thrilling adventures.

When To Visit

Zighy Bay experiences hot weather with average temperatures above 25 degrees Celsius throughout the year. From May to August, expect highs of 40 degrees Celsius with accompanying humidity. A popular time to visit is from November to April when the days are typically cooler.

The best time to spot whale sharks is between January and March when they're migrating from the southern bay of Oman to the Straits of Hormuz. If you like fishing, then try March to April, it's a great time to catch huge tuna fish.
