It's also where you'll find the eponymous Storms River village, which gives visitors a delightful insight into rural South Africa. Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour
Venture into the heart of the Tsitsikamma indigenous rainforest for a South African experience that will literally take you to new heights! Tread the top of the canopy, and pause on platforms surrounded by ancient Outeniqua Yellowwood trees. Up to a whopping 700 years old, these trees tell the historic tale of the forest.

Hermanus is considered one of the best whale-watching locations in the world. Boat trips are the best way to see these incredible creatures up close, and seasoned guides will take you to favoured migration spots, so you can watch them swim, breach, and feed. Make sure you bring your camera!

Wilderness National Park
The Wilderness National Park sits in the middle of the Garden Route, between George and Knysna. This location boasts beaches, forests, rivers, lakes and mountains, and there’s loads of opportunity to engage in outdoor sports, such as hiking, canoeing, abseiling, fishing and paragliding. Take a day or two here, and try them all.
