Luxury Khanom Holidays

Overview

Khanom is situated in the northern district of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province in southern Thailand on the Gulf of Thailand. It is a small unspoilt town made up of about 30,000 people and agriculture and fishing are very popular and there are rubber tree plantations, coconut and oil palm trees and rice paddies One part of the district is Ban Peng which is a small village where most of the population are part of the fishing business as it is set along the Khanom river. There are lots of beaches along the coastline and some feature bars and restaurants and many tourists flock to the pink dolphin colony. There is also a turtle shelter, caves, waterfalls, birds and monkeys and a 700-year-old temple.
