An early start today, sit back and enjoy the drive from your hotel to Tabanan area in the remote region of Belimbing along smooth country roads with mesmerizing views of rice terrace paddys.

Our journey will begin by trekking into coffee and chocolate plantations. Our intermediate trek of about 7 km takes us through the beautiful rice terraces, recognize some local fruits and vegetables then learn how local people do their farming,  ending up at the secluded Benben Waterfall.

Take the opportunity to purify your body and soul by taking a dip into this twin waterfall with cool fresh water,. from here, you will be transferred directly by road to Cempaka Belimbing hotel for lunch and a rest before the spiritual part of your adventure.

Approximately at 16.00PM, you’ll be dressed in proper Balinese dress to visit one of the ancient temples in Belimbing. A temple priest will lead you through a Hindu offering. Witness and experience every step of this ritual.

Once the ceremony is complete, you will be transfered back to your hotel.

Koh Ker and Beng Mealea - Excursion

Depart early to Dom Daek, from our vehicle we can watch the dailylife of the Khmer people fishing using traditional methods and the rice cultivation. Koh Ker is set deep in the countryside, around 80km’s from Siem Reap, we will arrive here by mid-morning.

Koh Ker became the Capital of the Angkor Kingdom when King Jayavarman IV decided to relocate the capital, he raised an impressive royal city at Koh Ker of Brahmanic monuments, temples and prasats, surrounding a huge baray (reservoir) Rahal.

The premier ruin is an imposing 7-tiered pyramid and temple complex. There are lingas still in place in some monuments such as Prasat Balang and Prasat Thneng.

Next stop is Beng Melea and enjoy a picnic lunch in peaceful surroundings.

The “Lotus Pond” Temple is an early 11th Century Hindu temple built by Suryavarman II. If there is one temple to explore resplendent with jungle engulfing it, it is Beng Mealea.  This is truly a stunning temple that has been left largely unrestored which makes for some stunning photography.

The Royal Palace was built within a pagoda-style compound in 1866 by King Norodom. 

One of these is the Silver Pagoda which takes its name from its 5,000+ silver tiles. The building itself holds a number of national treasures, most notably the life-sized gold Maitreya Buddha decorated with 9584 diamonds, weighing in a at 90 kg.

We continue to visit the National Museum, which houses the world’s largest collection of over 5000 objects of Khmer art sculptures, ceramics and bronzes from different periods of Cambodian history.

Countryside Tour - Phnom Chisor & Ton Le Bati - Excursion

We will depart from Phnom Penh early (around 7am) and drive south for a visit to Phnom Chisor (Chisor Mountain), home to some nicely preserved 10th /11th century Angkorian era ruins. 

The 503 steps to the temple on top of the hill make for a vigorous climb but the quality of the ruins and the amazing view of the countryside make the effort worthwhile.

We then continue to Tonle Bati for picnic lunch. Tonle Bati is a small lake that is home to the 12th Century temples Ta Prohm and Yeay Peau. The temple is surrounded by trees and native flowers and is close to Tonle Bati, which is a favourite weekend picnic place for Cambodians, especially from Phnom Penh.

We start the day with a drive by car to Kintamani,  for views over the active volcano Mount Batur, which sits alongside Lake Batur.

We begin our exploration of Ubud by foot. Rambling through the lush river valley of Tukad Wos, offering views of Gunung Agung.

This is a light trek, lasting around 2 hours. You will have an orientation as you begin at the beautiful Gunung Lebah Temple, which means ‘small hill’ in the Indonesian language.

From here, you will amble gently north, walking up onto the Campuhan valley ridge between the two rivers, arguably the finest trek in Ubud, and the views are spectacular.

You will also spend time with the friendly people of this community, before returning  to your hotel.
