Grand Villa Argentina

‘A Perfect Fusion Of Classic and Modern’

Grand Villa Argentina sits atop a hill on the edge of Dubrovnik’s beautiful Old Town and fuses classic and modern parts into one property. The Villa Argentina was built as a gilded private residence at the beginning of the 20th century and converted into a hotel complex in the 1950s, and retains its original architecture which features vaulted ceilings and little stone balconies. The original Dalmatian villa is adjoined to its ‘sister’ – a modern building called Hotel Argentina which showcases more modern design elements. Dining is a pleasure with wonderful flavours and captivating views on the open-air restaurant terraces. One of the highlights is The Energy Clinic Spa and Wellness Centre with more than enough soothing treatments for the body and featuring a sauna, Jacuzzi whirlpool and indoor swimming pool. For the more active there’s a fully equipped fitness centre and lots of fun activities nearby including scuba-diving, sailing, water sports and horse riding. All around, our lush terraced gardens – with stone fences and secluded corners in which to sit – are teaming with lemon, wild orange, rosemary, lavender and bay leaf trees. Whether you’re sunbathing on our private beach with its saltwater pool, dining on the restaurant terraces, lying on a sun lounger on one of the individual rocky outcrops, or reading your book in the gardens, spectacular scenery follows you wherever you go.

In Our Opinion

‘The choice of classic 1920s era or modern rooms and the advantage of being in such a prestigious hilltop position at the edge of the Old Town are big attractions of the Grand Villa Argentina.’
