Amakhala Safari Lodge

Official Rating

‘Wildlife Abundant, Scenic River Cruise’?

Amakhala Safari Lodge is situated at the northern boundary of the Amakhala Game Reserve. It incorporates African tribal-inspired beadwork and handcrafted designs throughout the prestigious lodge. Your luxury accommodation under thatched roofs with signature stone-capped tops provides all the comforts of home but with the added bonus of the sounds of nature and sightings of monkeys, zebra and antelope at the watering hole. Guests will have a good chance of seeing the big 5 on their game drives and take an exclusive boat cruise along the majestic Bushmans River in the malaria-free Amakhala Game reserve.

In Our Opinion

‘This safari lodge is a perfect choice for honeymooners and your hospitable hosts will take delight in drawing scented baths with chilled sparkling wine resting alongside; romantics will love sharing the beauty of this artistic lodge and its surrounding area’

Dining
The Amakhala Safari Lodge resident chef creates unpretentious food with flair; delicious home-made soups and breads, venison and ostrich are often served as are other traditional South African specialities such as braaivleis, and all in the tranquil setting of an African bush boma.
