Mont Rochelle

‘Wine Tasting and Gourmet Picnics’

Mont Rochelle sits amongst hills, valleys and vineyards in the old town of Franschhoek in the Western Cape Province – considered to be the food and wine capital of South Africa. Wine enthusiasts will be in heaven here with the personalised wine tasting sessions and 150 year old cellar, however there are plenty of other ways to spend your time either on the premises or nearby. Explore the 100 acres grounds as you take a stroll through the farm, or venture further with a hike to the Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve; upon your return, relax with a treatment at the spa. After working up an appetite, enjoy an intimate picnic lunch with a specially-prepared hamper, followed by a fine dining experience at one of two restaurants in the evening. Retire to your guest room and gaze across views of the valley.
