‘Luxury Resort In The Heart Of A World Heritage Listed Island’
Kingfisher Bay Resort resides amongst a swathe of tree-covered dunes on the World Heritage listed Fraser Island. This untamed wilderness has a rugged natural charm that makes it ideal for boating, fishing, swimming and bush walking. The resort is expansive, with a wealth of activities and events happening at any given time. Native birds and wildlife are easily spotted from the walkways by children who venture with the resort’s kid’s club, the Junior Eco Rangers. The accommodation at the resort is spacious, with two or three bedrooms available making it perfect for all of the family.
In Our Opinion
‘Winner of the inaugural Steve Irwin award for ecotourism, the resort provides a sensitive blend of luxury and harmony in the most tranquil of settings’
The Two Bedroom Villa is a self-contained abode that is nestled peacefully amidst the treetops. The villa is wonderfully furnished with sophisticated hard wood furnishings and simple décor. Outside, there is a private deck.
The Two Bedroom Loft Villa is luxuriously furnished with elegant hues and designer features. The loft villa is located in a natural bush and sand amphitheatre with a split level design that has plenty of space for extended families. Kids in particular will love the loft bedroom that lies beyond a steep slope of stairs.
The Three Bedroom Spa Villa is the pinnacle of luxury living at Kingfisher Bay Resort with a wide range of creature comforts. Guests will adore the private veranda with its outdoor spa bathtub. As the day draws to a close, keep your eyes peeled for sights of the local wildlife. The interior also offers a fully equipped kitchen and a plush living area.
