South Seas Island Resort is on Captiva Island, a 330-acre wildlife preserve spanning 2.5 miles of white sand beaches. This is home to 250 species of birds, 20 miles of bike paths and plenty of opportunities for fishing. Accommodation is conveniently located in prestigious North Pointe Village with private open balconies overlooking the Marina or Pine Island Sound. Dining choices here are casual and family-friendly with Harbourside Bar and Grill offering fish, caught from around the Island.

Harbourside Bar and Grill
Casual family restaurant specialising in locally caught fish. There is indoor/outdoor seating overlooking Yacht Harbour Marina. Includes a play area for children and a U-bar with TV. Open daily for breakfast 08.00-11.00 and dinner with a bar 17.00-22.00 (happy hour is 17.00-19.00).
The Pointe
Poolside restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating in North Pointe’s Resort Pool Complex. Serves sandwiches, salads, burgers and vegetarian options. Open daily 11.00-sunset.
Doc Ford’s Rum Bar and Grille
Popular casual family restaurant with Caribbean inspired food. Also serves cocktails and Mojitos. Open daily from 11.00.
Scoops and Slices
1950s themed diner just outside North Pointe’s Resort Pool Complex. Includes a wall of candy. Open 11.00-22.00 (until 23.00 on Friday and Saturday).
Starbucks
Famous coffee shop with all your favourites. Open 07.00-18.00 (until 19.00 on Friday and Saturday).
Captiva Provision Company
Full-service market offering delicious choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner alongside a collection of fine wines and spirits. Open daily 08.00-21.00.
Ships Store
Adjacent to North Pointe’s South Seas Marina. Serves coffee to take away, freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries, sandwiches etc. Open daily 07.00-21.00.
Sunset Beach Bar
Sunset Beach eatery serving hot/cold/grilled sandwiches, hot dogs, snacks and tropical drinks. Open daily 11.00 until sunset, weather permitting.
Crooked Snook Tiki Bar
Full service bar on the Resort Pool Complex backdropped by Pine Island Sound. Open daily 11.00 until sunset, weather permitting.
