Legal Requirements
To be legally married in Jamaica, the bride and groom must arrive to the hotel at least 3 days prior to the wedding day (not including weekends). All documents should be in 60 days prior to the wedding date. These include:
- Full and valid passport or notarised copy
- Original birth certificate or notarised copy
- If either party is divorced – Decree Absolute or notarised copy of Final Divorce Decree
- If either party is widowed –notarised copy of Death Certificates
- Notarised copy of legal name change or adoption documents
- If either party is under the age of 21, notarised parental consent

Sandy Haven is located on the western coast of Jamaica in the centre of Negril’s seven-mile beach. The transfer from Montego Bay Airport is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes - the hotel offers private and shared shuttle services.
